I'm currently facing an issue related to Group Policy Object (GPO) settings, specifically concerning USB permissions. I've implemented a policy to disable write access to USB devices; however, I'm finding that I'm unable to connect and access the data on these devices. Even with read and execute permissions still enabled, the connection seems to fail. Is it true that write permissions are a prerequisite for establishing a connection to USB devices, or should I be able to read from them despite the write restrictions?
