We are in the process of developing a retrofit solution to upgrade vehicles from conventional steering gear boxes to power rack and pinion systems. To achieve the desired performance, we need a custom steering rack, as existing OEM options don't meet our specific requirements. Could you let us know if you can modify an existing rack or create a new one that includes hydraulic power steering, rear steer for LHD, a minimum rack travel of 175mm, a C-factor of at least 58mm per revolution, and a compact size (no more than 590mm in length without tie rods)?
