I have a 48-foot ketch weighing 26 tons, and I'm currently using a Bruce anchor weighing 30 kilos. Recently, I also purchased a 50-kilo version, but I'm starting to think that it's a bit too heavy for my needs. Given the boat's characteristics, I believe a 40-kilo anchor might serve as a more balanced option. What are your thoughts on this? Would a 40-kilo anchor provide the right amount of holding power without being overly cumbersome?
