We are interested in a vertical moving RFID scanning system that can efficiently read HF RFID tags (13.56 MHz) affixed to stacked plastic boxes. The scanning setup should feature a singular RFID reading head mounted on a vertical movement mechanism, such as a linear actuator or gantry rail. It needs to operate exclusively on the Y-axis, with the ability to scan a full stack (up to 1.5 meters high) in 10 seconds or less. The reading distance should not exceed 20 cm, ensuring accurate detection of tags positioned on the front face of each box. Additionally, the system must be stable and lightweight, constructed as a freestanding vertical frame or gantry post fixed to the floor. It should support external signal triggers from our warehouse control system, through communication interfaces like TCP/IP or RS485. Power compatibility with 220V AC is necessary, and we would appreciate an optional API or SDK for seamless integration into our existing infrastructure.
