I recently received a smart BMS with a 60amp rating designed for a 23s configuration. However, upon connecting the battery packs, I'm seeing unusually high voltage readings, around 5 volts, on 3 to 4 of the series. I've double-checked all connections and verified that the cells are properly connected, so I suspect there might be an issue with the BMS itself or potentially a software glitch. I'm looking for guidance on how to address this problem. Could you advise whether this is typically a hardware fault or if there are steps I can take to troubleshoot any software-related issues? Any insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
